You are a Killer. Not only you, we all are. Surprised??? I will tell you how. Read on....

Farmers are backbone to any country. Now they are in real crisis. Till now
around 560 deaths have happened during 2006-2007 in AP due to hunger and
suicides. This is really terrible. Think once, why they are dieing.


Don't' they have a wish to live in this beautiful world? Don't they have a
wish to enjoy their life with their family? NO, They do have. Then why they
want to die? Only because they are helpless. They are the victims of our
mistakes that we do unknowingly & unintentionally with environment. Imagine,
how it would be, if all the formers strike on us for 1 season by not farming
their fields.



Listen, how we are becoming the cause for their pains and how we, each of
us, can contribute to stop this.



All the beings in the world are dependent on nature. Our lives are closely
coupled with it. Due to cut down of trees, wastage of water,
industrialization, pollution from vehicles, etc. nature is loosing its
balance. In turn no proper rains otherwise comes in wrong time. We, being in
air-conditioned rooms, will not be affected by these calamities. But poor
farmers do. They nurture the farms as if they are their lives. It has
occurred many times in the history, just before the crop comes to home, one
bad rain ruins off everything, which will throw them into debts and in turn
into deaths.



Can't we stop this? Together we can. It may not be possible to achieve it in
one single day, but through continuous practice, it is possible.
For that we don't need to sacrifice anything. Just few changes in our life
style can bring lot of changes in this world.




*       Switch-off lights, fans and esp. your PCs when you are stepping out.
Even if u r moving for few minutes, turn off your monitor. When 1000 people
per an org.(on an avg.) multiplies to 5min.s , it comes 5000min.s per a day
from an org. Remember, to prepare 1-minute flow of power, gallons of water
is required. Now, no need to specify how important is this to shut down our
PCs before we leave office.


*       1 paper print, 0.0001% warmer world. So please think before u give
print. Reduce prints, which are of minimal use.


*       Use Bottle to drink water rather than paper glasses. Looks silly but
Reusability matters!!

*  Try to do things paperless as much as possible, Do not take unnecessary printouts and  subscribe for  e-bills and e-payment facilities.

*       Off your vehicles when you are stopped at signal point for more than 100 seconds. It will just
take one or two seconds to restart your vehicle again when the green signal
comes.

 * Try to carry a bag with you while shopping, Minimize the use of polythene. 

 

Never treat the misuse of these things just as a matter of your
affordability. There is much more beyond that. Together many drops can make
an ocean. So please start doing these small things and also motivate others
in doing this. These don't require anything from our pockets. Healthy
environment is the best rich that we can give to our future generations. Be
an environment friendly person.
