Moving to Canada for further education has shown to me what diversity can be and how "Unity in Diversity" is actually a good thing. Education(primary/secondary/graduate) is one platform where students from different backgrounds come and sit together to learn the same thing. To increase their mental quotient at the same speed. Not only does one learn from the schooling authorities, but also, if one wants, from fellow students. If seen in the right light, each person has so much to learn and teach the others. "Slumdog Millionare" is a classic example of what all a child can learn if he keeps his eyes and ears open. If only this were the attitude in all schools in India and this platform is used for what its actually meant to be, then illiteracy can be removed at the snap of the fingers!
